Death penalties

Since I'm currently watching Prison Break I thought I'd say what I think about death penalties.

To me, that's a sign of an old civilization, maybe a medieval society. It's completely crazy and go against the fact that we're all equal and should be treated equally.
It's crazy that a country like United States still execute people, since they're suppose the the leading country of today. They also stand for liberty, freedom and democracy. Yet they kill people.

To me, you do not execute people in a democracy. In a democracy, it's illegal to kill someone. There. It is illegal to kill someone in a democratic society. So why death penalties? Doesn't that go against the law? Or maybe I'm just crazy thinking like this?

Yes, killing a person is the worst thing we can do, to murder someone is wrong. But do not kill them. Even if they murdered someone - they are someone's brother/sister, daughter/son. Someone will still love them. If you execute someone, you will cause that person's family the same harm as they did. You feel bad for the murdered man's wife, but you don't feel bad for the executed man's mother? That's RETARDED. It's CRAZY.

If a man murder someone, and a man starts the electricity to the chair that man is sitting is, so the murderer dies, what then? In real life, the man who kills the murderer comes home to his supper and continues living his life. But he also murdered someone. In a fair society, someone should execute him. And the man after him. And the next one, and the next one, etc.

But that's not how it works. So, get rid of the death penalties. You just look old, not liberal, but conservative.

Countries with death penalties: Modernize yourself, or kill the man who pushes the electricity button. And by that, kill your entire society.
